Outreach Opportunities
Just interested in learning about how to use design to do good? Each year the Metropolitan Design Center conducts dozens of workshops with local neighborhoods, nonprofits, and small cities, dealing with issues from promoting affordable housing and walkable neighborhoods to preserving green space. Some workshops are quite simple and some very elaborate. If you are interested being on an email announcement list about upcoming workshops, please email David Lowe at lowex005@umn.edu. We can only take a few additional students at any one meeting but they are a great way to learn about how design can make a difference!
