Direct Design Assistance: Indian Creek Watershed Project

This project requested by the Indian Creek Clean Water Partnership Project, based in Mankato, examined two sites within the watershed, an existing neighborhood and a potential development site. Taking account of existing plans, local soils and vegetation, this project developed concept design scenarios to illustrate how each site could be designed to manage stormwater in innovative ways. The scenarios were used as a discussion tool for staff, the local development community and city officials. Supporting material was also compiled including model ordinances, design details and other resources that will help continue the discussion.

Outcome: The scenarios were used as a discussion tool for staff, the local development community and city officials. Supporting material was also compiled including model ordinances, design details and other resources that will help continue the discussion.
