Direct Design Assistance: Broadway High School Environmental Studies Curriculum, Minneapolis, MN, 2004

Having worked with the Broadway High School Family Studies class in an earlier semester, the Design Center took an unusual step of returning to the high school for a second Direct Design Assistance project. This time the design assistance focused on developing exercises relevant to teen parents in high school.

With its focus on housing and homelessness, much of the class was similar to the earlier one. However, the final event involved high school students attending a graduate architecture studio class focused on affordable housing.
