Direct Design Assistance: Community Garden for the Adams Spanish Immersion Elementary School, St. Paul, MN, 2007

The Adams Spanish Immersion Elementary School has space on its property to incorporate a community garden for the school. The school would like the garden to be a place for the students to work and learn, as well as reflect the Spanish culture. The school has a small budget and will be using volunteers to help construct the garden, and asked the Design Center to come up with concepts.

The Design Center created three design options for the of the community garden. The options will incorporate community garden plots, native plant gardens, rain gardens, and educational spaces for the students.
