Past Projects : 2001 – 2003 : Green By Addition: Case Studies in Recycling the First Ring

This multi-year investigation examined renovation opportunities in Twin Cities suburbs built from 1945–65, at a range of geographic scales, from home and yard to subregion. The project was founded upon the premise that older suburbs can play a pivotal role in curbing urban sprawl and reclaiming natural resources in growing metropolitan regions.
