Publications: PowerPoints on the Design Center Web Site

The Design Center web site has a number of PowerPoints available for downloading or viewing on line. Those most likely to be of interest to a variety of groups are listed below.

  • A suite of PowerPoints dealing with GIS and active living.
  • A suite of 20 PowerPoints on housing intensification and urban design deals with topics from neighborhood character to an inventory of residential blocks at different densities.
  • A presentation of the many types of open spaces found in the Twin Cities, provides basic data and photographs of each type.
  • Slide shows of images from the Design Center Image Bank organized by topic. These are in development and 32 were available by the end of 2004.
  • Design Pointers are introductory shows on a variety of topics that can be
    downloaded or viewed on screen. They also have comprehensive
    scripts.
  • The Resources by Topic pages provide links to many types of materials
    including PowerPoints, arranged by topic.
